 High School/GED
At least 3 years experience in professional kitchen.
Able to prepare food for multiple functions, observing time deadlines and quality standards.
Maintains friendly, efficient, Spirit of Service attitude towards customers, coworkers and clients.
Monitors work flow using established department policies, maintain FTE levels and manage overtime/assists in creating production staff schedules
Helps establish and maintain food quality standards in regard to timeliness, taste and presentation
Cooks or otherwise prepares food according to recipe. Assists in training and supervising staff to ensure consistent quality products
Monitors food temperature logs, staff check outs, gives direction for ongoing cleaning projects and oversees walkin cleanliness and labeling practices according to Health Department guidelines
Enforces sanitation standards for unit and maintains training guidelines for a safe working environment.
Helps monitor production sheets and recipes
New menu development and implementation for catering and cafe.
Good working knowledge of different food preparation techniques.
