    General Job / Performance Information
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent. Age specific knowledge is required when needed for appropriate patient care. BLS is mandatory.
  • Environmental / Working Conditions
    • This position requires work near sources of radiation and in low light. This position is subject to inside environmental conditions. Occupational risk to blood born pathogens is moderate to high.
  • Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships
    • N/A
  • Job Description
    • Assist in patient care within the Radiology Department, in conjunction with the Radiology staff, Physicians and other employees of the Radiology Department. Perform tasks delegated by Technologists and/or Physicians.
  • Required Licensures / Certifications / Registrations
    • CPR.
  • Physical Capabilities
    • Must be emotionally and physically fit. Work requires constant standing, walking and lifting of patients and equipment. Must be able to lift 50lb or over. The work is at times stressful with many emotional demands. Must possess near visual acuity.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work well with others and without supervision. Technical competence. Ability to work under extreme pressure and be able to make quick decisions.
