  • PART I - General Job / Performance Information
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma, or equivalent. A minimum of one year secretarial or clerical experience preferred. Typing 40-50 wpm required. Medical terminology and CRT knowledge desired.
  • Environmental / Working Conditions
    • The work is performed in is a high risk area for exposure to blood borne pathogens. Hours of duty may be irregular to accommodate office schedule. Works inside, in well lighted and ventilated area.
  • Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships
    • Communicates and interacts with essentially all departments in hospital. Close relationships with physician clinic staff dealing with scheduling and certification of patients' procedures.
  • Job Description
    • Responsible for securing and communicating pertinent information for patient scheduling and documentation. Assists with other duties as assigned.

    • None.

  • Physical Capabilities
    • Work is of medium demand; basically sedentary. Near visual acuity, ability to hear and to speak is required. May be required to escort or direct patients to assigned hospital unit and / or transport patients by wheelchair to patient room.
